StormCrownHD helps you read official weather information and prepare for storms. It does not replace official warnings, emergency officials or your own judgment. By using StormCrownHD you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
StormCrownHD is not an official warning service. Alerts shown here come from the National Weather Service, but delivery can be delayed. Follow instructions from the NWS and local emergency officials, keep Wireless Emergency Alerts or a NOAA Weather Radio on, and call 911 in an emergency.
StormCrownHD (stormcrownhd.com) gathers official forecasts, alerts, radar, satellite imagery and outlooks from the National Weather Service and NOAA, shows them with their sources and timestamps, and offers plain-language explanations, saved places, notifications, a storm journal and preparedness checklists. It is an information service. StormCrownHD does not issue forecasts or warnings of its own.
Never rely on StormCrownHD as your only source of warnings. Alerts can reach StormCrownHD and your device later than they are issued, and data feeds, networks, browsers and push services can fail. Keep Wireless Emergency Alerts enabled and a NOAA Weather Radio or other official alerting on, follow the instructions of the National Weather Service and local emergency officials, and call 911 in an emergency. In any difference between StormCrownHD and an official notice, the official notice is correct.
The Briefing and The Guide use an AI model to explain official data in plain language. AI output is labeled, cites its sources and may contain mistakes or omissions. It is not an official forecast, watch, warning or instruction, and it is not professional, medical, legal or safety advice. Check the cited official products, especially before making decisions that affect safety.
Compare shows raw output from computer forecast models (via Open-Meteo) next to the official forecast. Model guidance is not an official forecast; forecasters at the National Weather Service weigh these models before issuing theirs.

We may limit or suspend access to protect the service or other users.
You own what you save, such as places, notes and journal entries. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy. You can delete it at any time.
Weather data comes from NOAA, the National Weather Service and the other providers credited on our About page. Maps use OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). We link to official and third-party sites for your convenience; their content and policies are their own. StormCrownHD is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA, the National Weather Service, FEMA or any other agency.
StormCrownHD's identity draws on biblical storm imagery, quoted from the public-domain American Standard Version (1901). This lore expresses our posture of calm and watchfulness. It never forms part of a forecast, alert or safety instruction, and nothing on StormCrownHD claims to predict weather by divine authority.
StormCrownHD is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the service or its data will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, StormCrownHD and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the service, including delayed, missing or inaccurate weather information or notifications. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use StormCrownHD after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. Questions: privacy@stormcrownhd.com.
